Mathaniel Merapin

STATION OPERATIONS

Mathaniel is the ISS Xenonion’s Chief Maintenance Officer.

A human hailing from the United Nations of Earth, he was one of the first individuals aboard the station to be infected with a brain slug following the consumption of infested room temperature salad from the Deck C food court.

Since being host to the parasite, Mathaniel has reported vivid, recurring nightmares about flesh-eating ghouls. He is currently undergoing dream analysis by a rotating team of renowned galactic psychiatrists, who describe the experience as “deeply confusing but academically rewarding.”

Despite the nightmares (and the slug), Mathaniel remains dependable, mechanically gifted, and unnervingly calm around faulty airlocks.
