Galaxy Inaugurates Tenth ‘Darmug’s Stronghold’

In a ceremony attended by confused envoys and visibly upset cartographers, the galaxy formally inaugurated its tenth planet named ‘Darmug’s Stronghold.’
The mountain world joins a growing list of planets spread across multiple space-nations that share the same name.
“While each of the species are different they all share the same cultural naming conventions,” researcher Dologga Ultrak told Xenonion. “In linguistic terms this language family is formally recognized as ‘Humanoid 1.’”
Efforts to distinguish between the various Darmug’s Strongholds have so far relied on increasingly strained qualifiers, including ‘Darmug’s Stronghold (Original)’, ‘Darmug’s Stronghold (Definitive Edition)’ and ‘Darmug’s (Strongest & Most Favored) Stronghold.’
Residents across all ten planets report the shared name has caused difficulties with travel, trade shipments and military invasions repeatedly arriving at the wrong Darmug’s Stronghold.
“Officials warn the ongoing confusion is beginning to destabilize the sector, with at least thirty-eight populists now claiming to be the original Darmug and calling for all planets to unite under a single banner, ‘The Stronghold of Darmug,’ though it remains unclear which one they mean.
The Galactic Council declined to comment on events, with officials stating they had to attend the inauguration of the galaxy’s fifteenth recorded ‘Findirban’s Outpost.’
